My name is Chris Peterson

I'm an artist, brand strategist and creative placemaker.​ My creative work explores the therapeutic power of art and nature in modern life.    

I grew up exploring the foothills of Timpanogos, swimming in the Provo River, and watching the sun set over the Great Basin.

 

As soon as I could drive, I started exploring the wildest corners of Utah and the American West. These experiences inspired me to start painting and go to art school. Then I put it down to earn two master's degrees and work for fifteen years in conservation, education and community-building organizations. In 2017, inspired and educated by my time on the front lines of this community work, I decided to start making art again.​​​..
