Frogwater mural: Muralfest 2020
Frogwater is a veiled commentary on the warming planet and the impacts to water resources and the species they support. Brown Trout, an invasive species in Utah, can thrive in warmer water than native trout, as do frogs. The sense of impending doom, on the frogs part, is offset by the pastel beauty of the giant trout. Circuitry in the background was inspired by the camera technology of the business location the mural was painted on and evokes the juxtaposition of nature and technology.
